Patients with a hereditary tumor predisposition require specific and risk-adapted care. This not only concerns surveillance, but also tumor treatment and family planning. Hereditary tumor syndromes are more common than previously thought and affect a relevant portion of cancer patients; but unfortunately, they are still not diagnosed in many patients. This webinar gives an overview on hereditary tumor syndromes in the scope of gastroenterology and focuses on relevant information for diagnosis and clinical care for these patients.
