Heritable retinoblastoma – long-term follow-up and care

Pernille Axél Gregersen is a clinical geneticist at the department of Clinical Genetics and Center for Rare Diseases at Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark. Her clinical and research focus is on improving management and care of patients and families with heritable retinoblastoma, a condition that often impacts several aspects of life: vision impairment, an increased risk of second primary cancer and a high risk of retinoblastoma in offspring.

This webinar will cover basic aspects of heritable retinoblastoma, but also focus on the retinoblastoma survivors’ perspectives of the condition, and discuss the health care system’s role in long term follow-up and care.
