Reproductive counselling for individuals with a cancer predisposition syndrome

Laura Roos is a clinical geneticist and consultant at Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet. She specializes in reproductive genetics, including PGT, prenatal diagnosis and reproductive carrier screening.

Said Farschtschi is a consultant neurologist and head of phacomatoses section at the Neurofibromatosis outpatient department and day clinic at the Department Of Neurology of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany.

Cancer predisposition syndromes raise reproductive issues for affected individuals because of the risk of passing the disease-causing genetic alterations on to offspring. In this webinar, we focus on the reproductive options available to individuals with CPS and their relevant family members and the specialized qualifications needed by healthcare professionals to counsel and support the group.
